About the role

Chexy is looking for a creative, outgoing Content & Events Intern to help make the brand impossible to ignore.

This is a hands-on role for someone who lives on social, understands what people are talking about, and wants to create content!

You'll help us film more, post more, move faster on trends, show up at events, talk to customers, and constantly find new ways to get Chexy in front of people.

One day you might be filming the team in the office, the next jumping on a trend, interviewing people on the street, covering an event, or pitching a completely new content series we should try.

We want someone who brings energy and ideas and isn't afraid to grab a camera and make them happen.

What You'll Be Doing

Create content: Film, edit, and publish short-form content across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social channels.
Get us filming: Constantly find opportunities to get the team, founders, customers, and community on camera and turn those moments into content.
Jump on trends: Stay close to social, cultural, and internet trends and find smart, fast ways for Chexy to participate.
Build content ideas: Bring forward new formats, series, hooks, street content, interviews, challenges, and ideas we haven't tried before.
Events & activations: Help plan and execute events, partnerships, pop-ups, campus activations, and other ways to bring Chexy into the real world.
Capture everything: Turn events, launches, partnerships, office moments, and customer stories into content we can use across channels.
Support social: Help with posting, community engagement, content calendars, and keeping our channels active and relevant.
Experiment: Try things. Some will work, some won't. We want someone who wants to keep making, learning, and trying the next thing.

What We're Looking For

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from Marketing, Communications, Media, Film, Design, or a related program.
Comfortable filming and editing short-form video.
Comfortable being behind and in front of the camera.
Deeply familiar with TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, creators, memes, and internet culture.
Strong instincts for what makes content interesting, funny, useful, or shareable.
Comfortable using any creative tools needed to get the job done.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Someone who notices trends early and immediately starts thinking about what Chexy could do with them.
Creative, resourceful, outgoing, and willing to make things happen.
Comfortable moving quickly in a startup where not everything comes with a brief.

Nice To Have

You've built your own social following, content series, or personal brand.
You've created content for a brand, club, publication, or creator.
Experience with events, activations, street interviews, or community building.
Photography or video experience.
